PowerStar batteries utilize a fine mat of glass fiber separators, where sufficient electrolyte is absorbed to provide the longest life and steady service. This Absorptive Glass Mat (AGM) System prevents the escape of electrolyte from the separator, avoiding leakage.

The unique design of PowerStar batteries effectively controls the generation of gas and allows the recombination of over 90% of the gas produced during normal use, resulting in Maintenance-Free Operation. During the expected floating service life, there is no need to check the specific gravity of the electrolyte or add water, as these batteries require no maintenance service.

The combination of the sealed construction and the use of absorptive mat separators allows PowerStar batteries to be operated in any position without loss of capacity, electrolyte, or service life, making them Position-Free and Leakage-Free.

PowerStar batteries are Rechargeable SLA (Sealed Lead-Acid) batteries with a 3-year warranty. The voltage is 12V, and they provide a 9Ah upgrade for 8.5Ah SLA batteries, replacing HR1234W. They come in a 4-pack with dimensions of 5.95 x 3.72 x 2.56 inches and a weight of 6 lbs.
